Now hiring qualified Speech Language Pathologists - SLPs in South Holland, IL for the 25/26 school year.

Speech Language Pathologist / SLP Pay:

• $1,610.00 - $2,170.00/week.
• Weekly direct deposit.
• Benefits Available, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k.

Speech Language Pathologist / SLP Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or a similar program.
• Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement.
• Must be a CCC-SLP in the State of Illinois.

Timeline and Schedule:

• Full-time | 35-40 hours per week.
• Follows school/district calendar.
• Now interviewing and hiring for the school year.
• Year-long contract with the potential to extend into the following years.

Speech Language Pathologist / SLP Position Details:

• Identify students needing specialized speech or language services, instruction, curriculum, activities, and classes, and support them with solutions that enable them to thrive in a learning environment and achieve academic goals.
• Facilitate individual and/or group therapy activities using curriculum-based materials and content, and provide progress reports and documentation as needed.
• Supervise support staff as needed and consult with fellow educators regarding accommodations, needs, instructional strategies, necessary equipment, and support.
• Provide augmentative and alternative communication systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language disorders.
• Create a classroom and learning environment that cultivates learning, engages the interests of the students, and allows them to perform at their very best. Then celebrate them!
• Utilize direct instruction techniques to guide our students through a variety of activities designed to promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth that is needed for primary school success!
• Explore individual needs and give side-by-side support to discover how each student best learns and develop personalized solutions to each student’s learning style and abilities.
• Master our proven curriculum as you implement our philosophy of education and guide the learning process and students toward the achievement of the curriculum goals.
• Encourage students to uphold our values and model mature behavior and good character in the classroom, on the school campus, and throughout their lives.
