Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – K–8th Grade

📍 Location: Hollister, CA | In-Person

📅 Dates: August 19, 2025 – June 5, 2026

Cross Country Education is seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support students in grades K–8 for the 2025–26 school year. Work alongside licensed SLPs to help students improve communication skills and achieve academic success.

Open Positions:

1️⃣ Full-Time SLPA – 40 students, onsite, working with a virtual SLP (Priority opening)

2️⃣ Full-Time SLPA – In-person

Position Details:

• 💵 Pay: $39.00 – $43.00/hour (based on experience) – W2
• 🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday | Full-Time
• 🎯 Caseload: ~40 students
• 👩 🏫 Format: In-person, collaborating with SLPs

Qualifications:

• 📜 Valid California SLPA License
• 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of SLPA certificate program
• 🌟 Bilingual in Spanish a plus (not required)

Essential Functions:

• Assist the SLP during student assessments
• Implement documented plans developed by the SLP
• Document student performance and report to the SLP
• Prepare instructional materials and maintain therapeutic equipment
• Support in-service trainings, augmentative/alternative communication use, and program planning
• Work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality
