Job Description

Our client, a biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer with extensive experience in developing multimedia-rich courses. The ideal candidate will also have graphic design experience and able to produce quick reference guides on top of producing a video educational content, and have that consultative approach.

This position will be 100% REMOTE

Contract Duration: 7 months

Must Have Experience & Proficiency w/ the following tools:

• Share Point
• Adobe Premiere
• After Effects (experience with Adobe Premiere is #1 if no After Effects experience)
• Adobe Photoshop
• Canva
• Camtasia

Qualifications:

• Instruction design and graphic designing
• Able to produce a video educational video content and quick reference guides. -
• Have that consultative approach
• Will be looking through the well-rounded creative methods to produce educational content.
• 5+ years of experience in designing educational eLearning products (Video Base Learning, Microlearning Videos and eLearning/SCROM Course), the candidate should have a strong grasp of how to integrate various media elements based on different learning styles.
• In this senior learning design role, the candidate will apply their expertise in graphic design tailored for education and training to enrich course content.
• They will collaborate closely with BTS L&D Management during content consultations, ensuring effective and organized management of our project production library so that all learning products are systematically saved in our team's repository.
• This position also involves working within project management tools including but not limited to Jira, providing weekly project development reports, ensuring alignment with Learning & Development (L&D) brand and experience guidelines.
• Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for creating content thumbnails and conducting content tests with subject matter experts and test subjects to ensure the learning material is sound.
• Once courses are completed, they will upload the SCORM files to our Learning Management System (LMS) and educational videos to our video repository.
• The role also includes uploading links and thumbnails to content on our internal SharePoint pages, making necessary edits to improve engagement, and ensuring the learning flow is seamless. Organizing materials effectively is crucial to enhance the user experience for our learning audience.
• The candidate will be responsible for updating the SharePoint page dedicated to communicating our educational material and assisting in writing content for internal communications (Teams Channels and LMS Communication Areas) about new projects that are launched.
• Additionally, the candidate will be tasked with updating internal SharePoint pages with relevant links and content, ensuring materials are organized to enhance user experience for our learning audience.
• Their role will also involve writing content for internal communications about newly launched projects, aiding in the dissemination of information across the organization.
• Strong organizational skills are essential, as the candidate will track project progress and regularly update the Associate Director of Learning and Development.
• This position reports to the Manager of Learning and Development, AI and Digital Upskilling.
