Job Title: Strategic Communications Consultant (Digital Transformation)

Location: Fremont, CA

Duration: 6+ months with possible extension

Rate: $65 to $85/hr on W2 - little Negotiable for right candidate

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to support communication strategies for digital transformation initiatives. This role will work closely with the Transformation Change Management (TCM) team, DT Communications Lead, and other functional teams to develop and deliver clear, compelling messages that drive engagement, support change initiatives, and promote alignment across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with management, business units, and sales to develop and execute communication plans.
• Create, revise, and manage messaging and marketing collateral across web, print, email, and other media channels.
• Collaborate on media strategy and placement decisions; liaise with external agencies when required.
• Act as an editor for formal business communications ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Develop PowerPoint presentations and other communication assets for leadership meetings, roadshows, and stakeholder engagements.
• Deploy content through defined channels (emails, newsletters, intranet, etc.).
• Continuously update and improve communication materials and track performance through feedback and metrics.
• Synthesize information from change impacts, stakeholder feedback, and other data to refine messaging.
• Analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and provide regular reports with recommendations.
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ensure alignment of all communication efforts with broader change and transformation goals.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in communication development, management, and deployment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to various audiences, including senior leadership.
• Strong project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Analytical mindset to evaluate program effectiveness and support data-driven decisions.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Reside within 50 miles of Fremont, CA, and able to travel within the U.S. up to 10%.
