Job Summary

Our client is hiring for a Warehouser to join our team in Willis, TX. The Warehouse is responsible for maintaining inventory counts and quality control procedures for incoming and outgoing product shipments. Duties include unloading/loading delivery trucks, checking incoming shipments against product invoices, organizing and storing shipments, and pulling/packing items to fulfill work orders and sales order requirements.

Job Description

• Responsible for receiving items daily and ensuring they are properly labeled with the correct part number and stocked in the correct bin location
• Prepare shipments: read sales order, pull items, box/palletize, weigh, fill out customer pick list, attach a copy of RF Smart generated CO Label to the shipment, and forward original paperwork to Logistics
• Responsible for notifying appropriate departments of any discrepancies/ problems with material
• Secure the warehouse from loss by:
  • Challenging unauthorized personnel upon entry as to their needs
  • Assuring that the warehouse is locked and secured when not attended
  • Report any theft, loss, or missing items to the supervisor immediately
  • Other than warehouse personnel conduct transactions properly

• Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor
• Must be willing to cross-train into other areas of the warehouse as required to meet the scheduled due date.
• Work extra hours daily and on weekends as instructed by the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure all assignments are complete
• Responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and orderly

Skills Required

• Must have communication skills
• Previous warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous inventory control and quality control experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Detail-oriented
• Reliable/dependable

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to work in a non-controlled climate i.e., no air conditioning in the plant
• Must follow all safety and environmental policies and programs
• Must be able to work around chemicals assigned to the department and wear the proper PPE
• Must be willing to work in an on-the-job-training status for the first two or three weeks of employment
• Schedule:
  • Dayshift, 6:00 am – 6:00 pm, Mon-Fri

Pay Rate/Salary

• $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
