Description

We are looking for a dedicated Wellness Coach to join the South Carolina Wildlife Federation team. As a Wellness Coach, you will play a crucial role in promoting health and well-being among our employees and volunteers. Your work will directly impact the overall wellness and productivity of our organization. You will be involved in designing and implementing wellness programs, providing guidance on healthy lifestyle choices, and supporting individuals in achieving their wellness goals. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our team members while contributing to the success of the South Carolina Wildlife Federation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized wellness plans for employees and volunteers.
  • Conduct health assessments and provide recommendations based on individual needs.
  • Lead group wellness activities such as fitness classes, workshops, and seminars.
  • Offer one-on-one coaching sessions to support behavior change and goal setting.
  • Educate individuals on nutrition, exercise, stress management, and other wellness topics.
  • Monitor progress and track outcomes to measure the effectiveness of wellness programs.
  • Collaborate with other team members to integrate wellness initiatives into daily operations.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in wellness coaching.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Wellness Coach or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of health and wellness principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in wellness coaching or related field is a plus.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire individuals to make positive lifestyle changes.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple wellness programs simultaneously.
  • Understanding of behavior change theories and techniques.
  • Empathy and compassion towards individuals seeking to improve their well-being.
