Position Overview:

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician to operate radiographic equipment, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and ensure patient safety while adhering to radiation protocols. This role is critical in supporting accurate diagnoses and delivering efficient imaging services in dynamic healthcare environments.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Licensure/Certifications:
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current New Mexico state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Experience: Prior experience in diagnostic imaging (preferred but not required).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment, radiographic positioning, and radiation safety protocols.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, patient-centered communication, and ability to work in fast-paced settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining steps and addressing concerns.
• Operate X-ray equipment to capture clear diagnostic images of internal structures.
• Position patients and adjust equipment to ensure accurate image results.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and self.
• Review and process images for quality, clarity, and diagnostic value.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly.
• Document patient information, imaging techniques, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to prioritize urgent cases.
