X-Ray Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures on patients in a safe and effective manner.
• Ensure accurate positioning of patients and proper technique for high-quality imaging results.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Properly operate and maintain X-ray equipment.
• Review images for quality and completeness, communicating any issues with the radiologist or supervisor.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging results and medical history.
• Adhere to all safety standards and regulatory guidelines, including infection control and patient confidentiality.

X-Ray Technician Requirements:

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure in Illinois as an X-ray Technician.
• Previous experience as an X-ray Technician.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
