About the Role

We are looking for a visionary Adobe AEM Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our Adobe Experience Cloud infrastructure. You will play a critical role in modernizing our digital experience stack using Adobe AEM as a Cloud Service, Edge Delivery Services, and Universal Editor to deliver high-performance, scalable, and secure web experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end solutions using Adobe AEM Cloud Service, aligning with enterprise cloud and DevOps strategies
• Lead the integration of Edge Delivery Services for performance, security, and scalability
• Implement Universal Editor and modular content strategies for scalable authoring experiences
• Provide architectural oversight and governance across multi-brand or global sites
• Partner with product, UX, and engineering to deliver composable front-end and headless CMS solutions
• Define CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices for AEM Cloud
• Lead performance tuning, caching strategies, and monitoring at the edge and origin layers
• Conduct architecture reviews, design validations, and POCs for emerging Adobe innovations
• Mentor developers and solution engineers on cloud-native AEM practices

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years in enterprise web architecture, with at least 4+ years focused on Adobe AEM
• Strong experience with AEM as a Cloud Service and Edge Delivery Services
• Hands-on expertise with Universal Editor, Core Components, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments
• Deep knowledge of Adobe I/O Runtime, GraphQL APIs, and headless AEM architecture
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proficient in Java, HTL, Sling Models, and front-end frameworks (React preferred)
• Familiarity with Launches, Multi-site Management (MSM), and localization strategies
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Adobe Certified Master – Adobe Experience Manager Sites Architect
• Experience integrating AEM with Adobe Target, Analytics, and other Experience Cloud tools
• Familiarity with JAMstack and composable DXPs
• Background in ecommerce, personalization, or global brand environments

This role is mostly remote, but they ideally want someone local to Texas who can come onsite to their Plano office once or twice a year.

This is a long-term (12+ month) contract.
