Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior project/program manager to lead the delivery of multiple large-scale, complex initiatives within the US Information Solutions business. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Agile methodologies, technical acumen, and a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Delivery:
  • Oversee the execution of multiple high-priority initiatives, ensuring successful delivery that meets business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project status updates, maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Submit detailed status reports that provide insights into project health, risks, impacts, and progress.
  • Manage resource allocation and ensure alignment across teams for efficient delivery.


Agile Coaching & Team Facilitation:

  • Serve as an Agile expert, guiding development and business teams on Scrum practices, values, and methodologies.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to define, groom, and maintain the product backlog.
  • Continuously evaluate team performance, implement lessons learned, and drive improvements to foster high-performing teams.


Risk & Issue Management:

  • Proactively identify risks, impediments, and constraints, providing actionable solutions to mitigate them.
  • Escalate critical roadblocks and constraints, ensuring timely resolution while minimizing impact on delivery.
  • Implement contingency plans and risk management strategies to address challenges effectively.


Technical Oversight:

  • Leverage technical acumen to address development challenges and facilitate smooth collaboration between business and technical teams.
  • High level understanding of IT systems and ability to drive technical decisions working with architects and development teams.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational technical policies and establish processes to safeguard quality across projects.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with global, cross-functional teams, including offshore resources, to ensure seamless execution and communication.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages open discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience managing IT projects, with 5+ years in a Project Management role.
  • 3+ years of experience managing large, complex Agile projects.
  • Experience in a Scrum Master role, with a strong understanding of Agile practices and techniques.
  • Experience working with global development and business teams.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale data warehouse implementations or Big Data projects is a plus.
  • Experience with healthcare domain is a plus.

Skills
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Agile estimation techniques.
  • Strong grasp of backlog tracking, burn-down metrics, velocity, and task definition.
  • PMP and/or Scrum Master certification preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adept at facilitating meetings, driving consensus, and presenting updates to senior leadership.
  • Familiarity with Data Warehousing, Big Data technologies, and modern software development practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $82,600.00 - $229,900.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
