Overview:

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Detailer / Project Manager to join our team in York, PA. Whether you’re an experienced detailer or a recent graduate in engineering, construction management, drafting, or a related field, this is a great opportunity to work on real-world projects and grow your career in the construction and fabrication industry.

You’ll play a key role in producing detailed plans for reinforcing steel (rebar) fabrication and placement. This role combines technical drawing, project coordination, and customer interaction—ideal for someone who enjoys working with construction plans, solving problems, and managing project details from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate placing plans using structural and architectural drawings
• Utilize AutoCAD, MicroStation, and aSa software to create drawings and bar lists
• Generate orders for materials and accessories based on project schedules and specifications
• Coordinate with the fabrication team to ensure on-time delivery
• Communicate directly with customers to resolve questions and detailing issues
• Revise plans as needed based on changes from customers, contractors, or engineers
• Maintain organized project files including drawings, logs, releases, and change orders
• Occasionally travel to job sites to assist with plan interpretation or field issues

What You Bring:

• High School Diploma required; degree or coursework in drafting, engineering, construction, or a related field preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation; aSa CAD experience a plus
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• Clear communication skills and a problem-solving mindset
• Customer service-oriented attitude and willingness to collaborate across teams

Bonus Skills (Not Required):

• Internship or experience in construction, detailing, or fabrication
• Exposure to the full construction process from design through delivery
