This position is remote, with a salary range of $125,000 to $162,000 per year. While the role is remote,finalists will need to attend an on-site interview in Oregon, with travel expenses reimbursed by OCCU. Additionally, occasional on-site visits may be required, and these costs will also be covered by the employer.

The Director of Project Management prioritizes effective change leadership by proactively evaluating the organizational impacts and implementing structured change management methodologies to support adoption, minimize disruption, and achieve sustainable transformation. This role also fosters collaboration across all levels of the organization, empowering teams to navigate complexity and deliver high-value outcomes.
In this role you will lead organizational change by adapting to evolving market demands and transforming culture, systems, or services for improved outcomes. You will also make informed strategic decisions by analyzing industry data, assessing gaps, and building relationships to support long-term goals. This role assesses business operations to pinpoint profitability drivers, selects optimal strategies, converts strategic goals into actionable steps and aligns team efforts with strategic priorities while ensuring accountability.
Candidates must have at least seven years of experience leading large-scale, cross-functional projects with measurable results. Required skills include PPM tools, MS Project, Service Now, advanced planning methods (WBS, critical path, resource optimization, earned value management), and proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, Predictive, and Hybrid models. Strong vendor and stakeholder management, contract oversight, and integration of change management into project lifecycles are essential. Excellent communication and collaboration across all levels is expected. PMP certification is required; CCMP, CSM, and PMI-ACP are preferred.
Candidates should have experience with software used by financial institutions, a strong grasp of business processes, proficiency in managing technology project lifecycles, familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and skills in PMO governance and process improvement.
