Job Description

We are currently looking to fill an Equipment Service Technician / Mechanic with a Bixby company specializing in agricultural and construction equipment sales and service.

Hours: 7:00am-4:30pm; some overtime may be required

Pay: $20-26+ DOE

This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position. Full benefits package offered after initial waiting period.

Responsibilities:

• Performs advanced diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment.
• Participates in SERVICE EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
• Maintains current repair knowledge of all products (gasoline and diesel) - small and large products.
• Maintains conduction of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a near and orderly fashion.
• Completes all service reports and forms required.
• Accounts for all time and all materials used in performing assigned repairs.

Requirements:

• 5 years of more repairing small to large equipment - preferably RTVs, skid steers, backhoes, forklifts, compact excavators.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform basic to advanced repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment using technical manual procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment.
• Ability to use computer equipment and navigate computer software.
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
• Must be able to lift, move, pull or push up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to work in a shop environment (semi climate controlled).
