Inside Sales Representative

My client is a leading manufacturer of industrial valves, proudly serving the market for over 150 years. Based in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, the company has built a legacy of engineering excellence, product innovation, and long-standing customer partnerships across a wide range of industries.
They are currently seeking a technical Inside Sales Representative to join their onsite team. This role is focused exclusively on inbound sales and customer support-ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, technically inclined, and experienced in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle inbound calls and email inquiries from customers regarding product information, pricing, and availability
Provide technical support and guidance on valve specifications and applications
Prepare accurate quotes and process orders from start to finish
Collaborate with internal departments including engineering, production, and shipping to ensure customer satisfaction
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers by delivering responsive, knowledgeable service
Accurately manage customer information and sales activity in the CRM system
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of inside sales experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong technical aptitude-able to understand and communicate product details clearly and confidently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
Must be able to work onsite full-time in the southwest suburbs of Chicago
