Location: Austin, TX (100% Onsite)

• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a seasoned Linux Engineer with strong scripting and geospatial leadership experience to join our MAP division in an onsite role in Austin, TX .
• This unique hybrid-skill position blends Linux systems expertise with geospatial data management and team/project leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead execution of geospatial projects aligned with strategic business goals
• Integrate geospatial data into enterprise platforms and workflows
• Automate geospatial processes using Python, Bash, and CAPL.
• Manage and administer Linux environments ( Amazon Linux, RHEL, SLES, OEL ).
• Validate data quality and accuracy across projects
• Ensure system reliability and process optimization
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, analysts, and business users
• Document system workflows and operational procedures
• Stay updated on geospatial technologies , tools, and trends
• Provide training and mentorship on geospatial scripting and data tools
• Deliver tailored solutions based on stakeholder needs
• Recommend tools and practices to optimize geospatial data management
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards

Qualifications & Certifications:

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in Linux systems and geospatial tools
• Expert in Python, Bash , and CAPL scripting
• Strong background in Linux administration (RHEL, SLES, OEL, Amazon Linux)
• GISP and RHCSA certifications – required
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Proven leadership in managing geospatial initiatives
• Attention to detail and data integrity
• Ability to thrive in onsite, cross-functional environments.
