DESCRIPTION

Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

The Manager, Manufacturing Programs will lead the end-to-end Supply Chain program management and planning for Kuiper's Line Replacement Units (LRUs), ensuring seamless production execution and material availability. This role will work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, and other key stakeholders to drive manufacturing excellence and meet production targets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful track record in managing complex aerospace/satellite programs, implementing process improvements, driving cost reduction initiatives, and resolving operational challenges in a high-volume production environment.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring material availability and maintaining production readiness while simultaneously driving efficiency improvements and cost reduction initiatives to meet critical business targets. Through strategic coordination with cross-functional teams, they will manage the implementation of process changes and develop transition planning strategies that maintain production continuity. The role demands strong leadership in resolving operational challenges by fostering collaboration between production, supply chain, and operations teams. This integrated approach ensures smooth production flow while maintaining the high quality standards essential for satellite hardware manufacturing.
