JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and passionate Mixologist to join our team. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for crafting exquisite cocktails and delivering exceptional beverage experiences for our guests. You will work in our hotel bar, creating unique and innovative drink recipes, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a memorable and enjoyable drinking experience.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Craft and present an extensive selection of high-quality cocktails, ensuring consistency and adherence to hotel standards.
  • Develop innovative and signature cocktail recipes that showcase creativity.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of beverage trends, ingredients, and techniques, continuously improving the beverage offerings.
  • Provide attentive and friendly service to guests, engaging in conversations, and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Ensure the bar area is well-stocked with premium spirits, mixers, garnishes, and other necessary supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bar tools, glassware, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to create cocktail pairings that complement the hotel's food menu.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring the responsible service of alcohol to guests.
  • Upsell and promote special beverages and seasonal cocktails to maximize revenue and enhance the guest experience.
  • Participate in staff training programs to educate colleagues about mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage service.
  • Contribute to the development of promotional activities and events to attract more patrons to the hotel bar.

 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in an upscale hotel, fine dining restaurant, or high-end cocktail bar.
  • In-depth knowledge of spirits, wines, liqueurs, and various cocktail-making techniques.
  • A creative and passionate approach to mixology, demonstrated through the development of unique and innovative cocktail recipes.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per the demands of the business.
  • Certification in responsible alcohol service and knowledge of local liquor regulations.
