Position: Nurse Practitioner - Maternal-Fetal Medicine

Location: Ahwatukee, AZ
Hours & Schedule: Full Time (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Work Environment: Outpatient/Clinic Setting
Salary / Hourly Rate: $120,000 - $140,000 / year
Bonus Offered: RVU-Based Bonus

Job Summary

Join our compassionate and specialized Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) team, where we provide high-quality care to expectant mothers and their unborn babies who may be facing unique health challenges. Our outpatient clinic is dedicated to supporting high-risk pregnancies through expert diagnostics, personalized treatment plans, and ongoing education for patients and families.

As a Nurse Practitioner in our MFM practice, you will play an essential role in guiding mothers through complex pregnancies, working alongside a multidisciplinary team that includes MFM specialists, sonographers, genetic counselors, and other healthcare professionals. Our goal is to ensure that each patient feels heard, supported, and empowered throughout their journey. Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
• Provide prenatal care, education, and counseling tailored to high-risk pregnancies.
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists to diagnose and manage maternal and fetal health complications.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests related to maternal-fetal health.
• Perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as appropriate.
• Offer emotional support and education to patients and families regarding pregnancy complications, genetic counseling, and neonatal concerns.
• Work closely with the care team to coordinate patient care across specialists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in staff meetings, patient rounds, and the development of standardized care pathways.
• Engage in clinical research and trials related to maternal-fetal medicine.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and ethical standards related to patient care.

Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements

• Completion of a US-Based Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Program (Puerto Rico-based programs do not meet this requirement).
• 1-2 years of experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
