Select Savvy is seeking an exceptional Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a dynamic and supportive school community in the Maywood, IL area for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year with options to continue for the 2025-2026 school year. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students with disabilities, focusing on physical, mental, and developmental challenges.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s specific needs.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment for students.
• Assess students' progress, modify therapy plans as needed, and document outcomes.
• Provide recommendations for assistive technology, equipment, and accommodations to help students achieve success.
• Educate and support students, staff, and families in managing disabilities and optimizing function in daily activities.
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, goals, and progress for each student.

Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License in Illinois is required.
• Previous experience in school-based therapy or pediatric care preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate, patient, and able to manage diverse needs with empathy and skill.
