Pharmacist - New Grads! (Onsite)

Ideal Candidate: New graduates or early careerist (0-3 years) of experience to help with innovative systems that we are seeking to implement into our unique Rx cloud-based program.

• Compensation: $55.00-$56.50/hr
• Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15205 - Office type setting to assist with processing escript/mail orders.
• Employment Structure: Temp-to-Perm (if Satisfactory attendance and performance throughout duration of contract hours)
• Reason for Hiring: Business Growth
• Number of Openings : 5
• Hire Dates: 04/28 & 05/12 (Orientations)

Department Hours of Operation: Mon-Fri 7:30a-9:30p EST and Sat 8:30a-5:00p EST.

* Rotating five 8 hrs shifts, with an emphasis on a later shifts ie. Noon to 8:30p or 1:00p to 9:30p.

** One Saturday is required a month, when scheduled. They will have one day off mid-week.

*** Schedule comes out 2-4 weeks in advance

Requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited College of Pharmacy
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacy License in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy
• Strong command of the English language
• Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex new software

Job Description:

• Checking CPhT workflow queue's and ensuring order entry process is efficient
• Managing inquiries from Provider or Pharmacy to ensure script is complete prior to dispensing *No dispensing onsite in Pittsburgh
• Some Patient/Member engagement but not much.
• Support Leadership with visions on future automation and technology advancements
• Support pharmacy operations by supervising technician workflow and ensuring high-quality, accurate data entry from providers and partner pharmacies.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure proper handling and disposal of sensitive documents.
• Partner with the Pharmacy Manager to guide staff in managing inbound calls and coordinating prescription transfers nationwide.
• Own the end-to-end process of receiving, processing, and transferring prescriptions.
• Ensure all activities align with company policies and state/federal regulations.
• Collaborate closely with leadership and pharmacy teams across locations to drive operational excellence.
