Job Description

On behalf of our client, a $600M privately-held manufacturer, we are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial executive to lead new revenue growth strategies to diversify into new market sectors, including aerospace, defense, energy, and industrials. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with ownership and the executive team, this person will hold enterprise-level responsibility for identifying new markets, designing the strategy to enter them, securing internal alignment, and leading execution efforts from concept through implementation.

This role is designed for an experienced CEO, President, or senior operator who is ready to build, lead, and execute transformational growth within the context of a values-driven, family-led enterprise. They will not inherit existing operations but will instead focus entirely on creating new value—strategically, commercially, and operationally.

Responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Market Expansion : identify diversification opportunities and develop strategies to enter and grow into new markets, fousing on manufacturing / industrial.
  • Market & Relationship Development: Build and cultivate strategic partnerships and customer relationships within targeted verticals and represent the company within prospective customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Enterprise Initiatives: Lead or support new ventures, including greenfield initiatives, joint ventures, and acquisitions, with a long-term ownership mindset; build trust and alignment with executives across the business; translate strategies into actionable initiatives.

Professional Experience

  • 20 years career experience, with at least 10 years in a leadership capacity,(CEO, President, GM, or similar)
  • Operational and financial oversight: at least 5 years of Profit & Loss ownership in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated success leading strategic diversification and growth in manufacturing or advanced industrial sectors
  • Comfortable working directly with customers/clients in a relationship building and/or new business development capacity.
