SUMMARY
We’re looking for someone excited to grow with our team. This position involves hands-on production bench work, assisting our jewelers and Studio Assistant and supporting a variety of daily production needs. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves the craft but also enjoys organization and contributing to the broader production process.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :
- High school diploma and production bench experience and/or jewelry-making training (or equivalent experience)
- Skilled in all basic aspects of production including cleaning castings, polishing, soldering/assembling, pearl glue, and black rhodium application
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (especially Gmail, Sheets, and Drive)
- Strong data entry and record-keeping skills
- Ability to learn and navigate workflow management tools (Asana or similar)
- Comfortable tracking deadlines, updating spreadsheets, and following structured processes
- Strong written communication skills in English for accurate notes, documentation, and updates
- Strong attention to detail with excellent eyesight, memory, and dexterity for hands-on work
- Extremely organized, clean, and able to see both fine details and the bigger picture
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Independent, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing directions or priorities
- Professional attitude, friendly demeanor, and strong team player
- Interest in and appreciation of SKJ products
- Interest or experience in mass production
- GIA certification and/or gemstone knowledge (a plus)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
PRIMARY JOB RELATED DUTIES:
- Produce jewelry for orders according to steps taught by trainer and our production book instructions, maintaining our high quality standards and meeting deadlines
- Train in pre-production processes to provide additional coverage: district runs and vendor network, raw materials inventory management, raw material processing, facilitating ordering, receiving and returning, prepare manufacturing orders by pulling and organizing all necessary components for production, production data entry, stone inspection, OOAK pre-production tasks
- Larger production support projects
- General clerical support
- Work closely with studio team members to address problems, bottlenecks, improvements etc.
- Familiarity with safety procedures when working with hazardous materials or equipment
- Keep studio neat and clean
SECONDARY JOB RELATED DUTIES:
- Presents a professional and positive image on behalf of the Company.
- Reports any safety or security concerns immediately to the Operations Manager.
- Keeps the studio area tidy and clean and ready for customer visitors at any time.
- Supports any additional tasks related to primary job responsibilities as requested by Management.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- The Staff Member is regularly required to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, grab things with his/her hands and use various office equipment.
- This job requires the ability to move around the office and run errands outside the Company.
- The Staff Member must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate to occasionally noisy due to production
- equipment.
- The Staff Member must be able to tolerate airborne dust particles from production equipment in the studio.
- Good vision, with or without aid, is required for this job.
- Ability to travel independently.
