Job Description

AMC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Property Manager to lead operations at a brand-new, Class A luxury lease-up in the Seattle area. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a high-end community from the ground up, creating exceptional living experiences while building a strong and successful team.

As the Property Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the property, including resident satisfaction, lease administration, financial performance, vendor management, and team leadership. Your ability to foster a positive community and deliver top-tier customer service will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the property, focusing on resident satisfaction, retention, and lease lifecycle management (rent collection, delinquency, renewals).
  • Oversee the property’s P&L and ensure financial goals are met.
  • Implement and manage strategic marketing initiatives to drive leasing success and maintain occupancy targets.
  • Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team; provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Foster a team environment aligned with AMC’s values and customer service standards.
  • Manage vendor contracts and ensure maintenance and property upkeep are to standard.
  • Handle resident concerns professionally and serve as the liaison between residents and corporate.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, property management agreements, and local regulations.
  • Administer emergency procedures and risk management plans, including safety record-keeping and property loss claims.
  • Prepare and submit required reports and documentation timely and accurately.
  • Maintain a professional knowledge base through continued learning and development.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of property management experience required, preferably with lease-up or luxury Class A properties.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Familiarity with resident lifecycle processes and lease administration.
  • Experience with property management software (e.g., AIM or equivalent) is a plus.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage sensitive resident issues.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
