Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Manager to lead and manage compliance activities for a range of public funding projects. This role is crucial in ensuring our clients maintain adherence to grant and loan requirements post-award. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of funding compliance, particularly with programs such as the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, grantees, funding agencies, and project consultants.
  • Facilitate and lead meetings with grantees and public funding agencies.
  • Identify, interpret, and fulfill post-award compliance requirements, including reporting and documentation.
  • Prepare and submit grant reimbursement requests with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review certified payrolls, bidding documentation, and other compliance materials.
  • Coordinate submission of documentation and manage communication with stakeholders.
  • Support grant close-out activities, including facilitating audits and final reporting.
  • Train and mentor junior team members in post-award compliance procedures.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with public funding mechanisms (grants and loans).
  • Hands-on experience with RACP compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and review reimbursement requests.
  • Familiarity with rigorous reporting standards and deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-starter with a proactive work ethic and high attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership skills with a willingness to mentor others.
