Job Title: RN Manager, Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU)

Location: Richmond, VA

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced RN Manager for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Richmond, VA. This full-time, day shift position offers the opportunity to manage a dynamic NICU team, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining operational excellence. The RN Manager will oversee the daily functions and staffing of the NICU, promote patient safety, and support continuous improvement in clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure high-quality care and efficient operations in the NICU, aligning with established clinical policies and procedures.
• Support efforts to reduce clinical variation and improve care efficiency, safety, and outcomes.
• Lead and hold staff accountable for the delivery of care that meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate care across departments, ensuring that staff with the appropriate competencies are assigned to meet patient needs.
• Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in both clinical practice and patient experience.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external standards, including regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Lead initiatives to improve patient experience and satisfaction.
• Oversee nursing practice on the unit and evaluate the quality of care provided, ensuring it aligns with evidence-based practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• 3-5 years of NICU leadership experience in an acute care setting
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills

Additional Information:

• Reports to the Director of NICU
• Must be able to demonstrate excellence in patient care and staff leadership
• Relocation and Sign-on Bonuses may be available on a case-by-case basis
