We're a growing company seeking a sales consultant with a track record of consistently delivering revenue growth. Income is uncapped and determined solely by your success. As a sales consultant, you are the face of the company and an integral part of the customer interface team promoting Stand Strong Fencing and our products/services to property owners to assist them in making informed decisions to meet their fencing needs.Primary Responsibilities
- Assess customer needs and provide timely and accurate estimates
- Utilize company software for estimate formulation and communication with customers and coworkers, and accurate recording keeping
- Collaborate with coworkers to provide prompt customer service and accurate communication with install teams
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor
- Punctual and consistent attendance
- Perform scheduled home-based appointments and develop leads through organic marketing (in-person and on-line)
- Organize, plan and pre-qualify sales appointments
- Demonstrate products to customers
- Develop expertise in product knowledge and industry processes
- Utilize value based selling process with honesty and integrity
- Walk and measure outdoor property/areas for fence installation
- Carry hand samples for demonstration and occasionally deliver needed materials to install teams
- Achieve Revenue and Profit Metrics
- Customer Acquisition Strategy/Prospecting
- Achieve Customer Close Metric
- Daily interaction with CRM – Customer data, Sales Data, Leads Data
- Maintain an opportunity pipeline
- Keep up to date on permitting and HOA requirements
- Qualify paid and organic leads / prospects
- Deal with Customer Call-Backs / Complaints
- Confirm and qualify booked appointments, generate organic leads, provide consultative customer appointments, generate accurate estimates, professionally and comprehensively present proposals to property owner/representative.
- Develop expertise in product knowledge, technical knowledge, industry, and process knowledge in relevant product areas.
- Become an expert in our product offerings and serve as a go-to source for clients who want more information concerning our products.
- Perform organic lead generation strategies and activities.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of marketplace, competitors, and industry trends in order to identify new business and marketing opportunities.
- Organize, plan, and prioritize sales calls and appointments.
- Create and maintain a sales / marketing plan for increasing sales and revenue.
- Work with install team leaders to understand, explain and analyze client requirements.
- Demonstrate products to consumers.
- Address potential client queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform basic record keeping and data entry in CRM to ensure proper tracking of sales and client needs.
- Interacts with clients and co-workers in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, understanding their fencing requirements and offering suitable solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall revenue growth of the company.
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate fencing products and services, providing detailed information and addressing any concerns.
- Build and nurture positive relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and after-sales support.
- Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to effectively communicate the value of our fencing solutions to potential customers.
- Participate in sales training programs to enhance your sales skills and stay aligned with best practices.
- Work alongside the marketing team to promote sales campaigns and initiatives, maximizing customer engagement.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions, sales activities, and relevant information in our CRM system.
- Support the sales team in administrative tasks, order processing, and coordinating with other departments for seamless service delivery.
- Uphold the company's commitment to quality and compliance by following all relevant sales regulations and standards.

Experience and Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; College degree or 3+ years outside sales experience is a plus / preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite / CRM / Teams
- Strong aptitude with Sales tools, processes and CRM software
- Track record of consistently achieving sales metrics
- Home services sales experience is a plus / preferred
- Demonstrated ability to find, qualify and close new customer business
- Fence industry knowledge or general construction experience is a plus / preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Be in the field on site engaging with property owners and occasionally assisting Installers.
- Work outside in the elements and during varying seasons
- Lift, move, and hold up to approximately – 80 lbs.
- Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; speak and listen.
- Must be able to drive a motor vehicle for extended time periods.
