Job Description

Transaction Coordinator

As one of the region's leading real estate firms, our client is experiencing remarkable growth and is eager to expand their team. This dynamic, mid-sized company consistently exceeds client expectations by delivering exceptional service.

With a nationwide presence, this developer boasts a vibrant workplace culture, selecting team members based on skills, integrity, and passion for the industry. They foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and empowers employees to take leadership roles by offering the necessary training, tools, and opportunities for career success. This company provides competitive compensation and benefits packages, including top-tier medical plans, flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) plan with company matching, and company-paid life and disability insurance.

We're looking for a proactive, detail-savvy Transaction Coordinator to help drive the execution of real estate deals from initial opportunity through closing. This role requires a strong communicator and project manager who can juggle multiple deals while collaborating closely with internal departments and external partners.

Core Responsibilities-Transaction Coordinator:

  • Oversee and track all phases of real estate transactions, including acquisitions and leasing, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and documentation remain on schedule

  • Work cross-functionally with teams such as Finance, Legal, Property Operations, and Construction to align on deal-related priorities

  • Manage the onboarding process for new tenants, including data collection, system setup, and team coordination

  • Review and distill lease documents, highlighting key financial terms and conditions for internal stakeholders

  • Contribute to the development of proposals, letters of intent, and other materials shared with clients or partners

  • Maintain comprehensive records for each deal, including lease agreements, property documents, and acquisition files

  • Regularly update internal reports and assist in preparing for weekly deal pipeline meetings

  • Perform research related to leasing comps, ownership structures, tenant backgrounds, and local market conditions

  • Communicate directly with brokers, vendors, and prospective tenants to facilitate smooth transaction flow

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and assist in refining operational systems and workflows

Additional Duties-Transaction Coordinator:

  • Join property tours and broker-led events as needed to support deal and leasing efforts

  • Help coordinate the creation and placement of marketing signage, property images, and promotional collateral

  • Lend support to one-off initiatives and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a similar discipline—or equivalent work experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in commercial real estate, deal support, or leasing operations; exposure to lease management or tenant services is a plus

  • Exceptionally organized with the ability to handle multiple active deals and prioritize in a dynamic setting

  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional communication abilities, both written and verbal

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of real estate platforms like CoStar or LoopNet is helpful

  • Capable of working autonomously and staying proactive within a high-energy, fast-paced environment

  • A flexible problem-solver who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and contribute wherever needed
